Summer NAT PRESCHOOL: Mammals

Participants must be age 3 by August 31, up to entering Kindergarten. These weekly classes are designed to prepare your little ones for Kindergarten while introducing them to nature's wonders. Classes include lessons, stories, experiments, crafts, hikes and games.
Students should pack snacks, a lunch, and dress for the weather for this OUTDOOR LEARNING EXPERIENCE!

*All current Nature Preschool students (and their siblings) pay the resident rate.

*Priority enrollment for current students begin 1/29/24. Enrollment open to the public 2/1/24.

This program is RAIN or SHINE! In the case of AM thunderstorms we will cancel that day's program and refund participants.

*All students MUST be potty-trained, students not potty-trained must have an adult stay with them during the program.*

Week 01 . 6/10 to 6/14: FOSSILS - Learn about how fossils are made and even make a fossil of your own?
Week 02 . 6/18 to 6/20: ANIMAL ADAPTATIONS - Learn about and explore the unique traits that animals have to help them survive.
Week 03 . 6/25 to 6/27: BIRDS - Learn about difference in song birds and raptors, where they live, what they eat and more.
Week 04 . 7/2 to 7/3*No 7/4: DIRT - Come prepared to get dirty! Have fun learning about and exploring dirt!
Week 05 . 7/9 to 7/11: PLANTS & SEEDS - Pretty flowers and leafy green plants; learn how a tiny seed will grown into something bigger.
Week 06 . 7/16 to 7/18: ROCKS - Rock out this week with Summer Preschool Kids Club, while learning how rocks form and making a rock of your own.
Week 07 . 7/23 to 7/25: FISH - Dive into a fun filled week learning about how fish live under water!
Week 08 . 7/30 to 8/1: MAMMALS - Are you a mammal? Learn about what makes mammals different from other animals.
Week 09 . 8/6 to 8/8: RAINBOWS & WEATHER - What makes a rainbow? We'll explore different types of weather and try to make our own.
Week 10 . 8/13 to 8/15: WATER - Be prepared to get wet as we learn about animals that live in the water.
